86 crx motor swap

my buddy has an 86 crx, the motor is cashed out, hes lookin to put a motor in there that has some go but nothin special, decided on a d16a6, will he need new motor mounts or will the stock mounts work? and what else do we need to know ahead of time? thanks... (i know it says 88-91 crx.civic but o well)

an 88 or 89 integra dohc will be better. bolts in better.

so your saying putting in a 88 or 89 teg motor ( ls im asumming) would be easier than a 88-91 civic/crx si motor (d16a6) ?

check out the link in my sig. it has info on the integra swap. this swap does not require custom mounts or a Hasport mounting kit. if the car has a carb now it will require a fare bit more wiring. if it is FI (CRX Si) it almost a direct plug in to the stock harness, little modification needed.
