I have a 92 integra with a b18a. I wanted to do a build up and go turbo, but I'm also thinking about swapping in a b18b and going turbo. I wanted to know how much faster is a b18b turbo than a b18a turbo and is it worth it to swap in the b18b for the b18a?

not at all its same motor really just work with what you got.

yeah there the same motor. i think you should just get another b18a and just build that up. i think the b18a is OBD1 and b18b is OBD2

B18B's from 94-95 are OBDI and then 96+ are OBDII. Your best option is just work with the motor you have or buy a used b18A or B18B and build it then swap it out. All you need to convert the OBDII b18B's is the IM from your B18A.
