this downpipe im looking to buy has a small tube coming off of it about 4 inches from the flange that hooks up to the cat back. i was told it is where you install the o2 sensor.
anyone heard of this?
im used to the o2 screwing directly into the pipe.
good design, bad design, doesnt matter?

let me know what you think, thanks

im not too familiar with the turboxs items but im sure someone on here has installed one before

when you come to the list of threads, at the top of the list theres a search bar thing, type in a few keywords to get some results

The bung your are speaking of is the place where the o2 sensor goes. The o2 bung is just big speak for "threaded hole I am used to screwing the o2 sensor into." :smokin:

when you take out your factory downpipe, you'll have to unscrew the O2 sensor out of it. You will re-screw the sensor into the o2 bung of your aftermaket downpipe. The factory downpipe has a cat in it, so once you install a new downpipe your engine warning light might come on. As long as the warning pertains to catalytic inefficiency, you're ok.
