How does one remove , Deployed Stearing wheel Airbags, from a 1996 Chevy Astro Van.
I took out the two Torx Screws, from the back, and that loosens a Plastic Stearing wheel case,,, Is there Some sort of tabs,,,, or magical way...


Also the Passenger side since were doing that as well....

I figured out, how to remove the airbags on the Steering wheel....

1) I took off the Rear Steering wheel cover, held by two Torax screws

2) Then I pulled it back a little, noticed a Little Rod Clip, along the 4 Corners of each of the Airbag Inserts...

Depresssing this tang, with a Simble Small Regular Screwdriver did the Job... while Up Lifting a Little Pressure on the Air Bag Module...

Also one could simply move the Tang from the Rear as well, without removing the Little Torx Screw.....

Then Simply Un-Hook, the Electrical Connection...
