Hey thanks for all the info from the guys that answered my questions about h22ing my 94 civic. Now what about h22ing the 88 civic body style... Is that possible? Just as difficult as the 92-95 model or harder? What will I need for parts? Thanks again for your time guys!

Good luck getting mounts... I think its harder because you have to either custom fabricate the mounts or go buy some expensive ass ones... at least I know that holds true for a CRX...

yup its really hard to put a h22 into a 4th gen or crx. its been done before but its not a bolt in like in the 5th gens. you gotta reweld new mounting brackets

Unfortunately, there is no company that makes mounts for an 88-91 Civic/CRX h22 swap. So you're gonna have to make custom mounts.

However it is possible, here is some pictures of it getting done in a CRX....

Enjo makes mounts for the swap. Personally I've never researched the swap so I don't know the details of it; but I think I remember seeing some kind of write up about it before.

Yeah you're right. I just assumed they were out because they've been working on them for a year and a half +. Damn their R&D department should get smacked up side the head for taking so damn long, and even having it on their site if it's not even finished yet.

I also read that Hasport has already made a prototype and they may release it within 3-5 months. Again, I just read that on a forum so who knows if it's actually true or not.
