My driver side power window suddleny stopped working today. All other windows work, being controlled from the driver side panel or from their own panel. When I push the button to make the drivers window go down I hear a clicking noise that sounds like it is coming from underneath the button. The car is a 1998 4 dr, 2 whl drive Blazer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Do you hear a load clicking as long as the button is held? If so, sounds like a bad window regulator or the motor is loose. The window motor gear contacts the regulator just under the switch.

Old thread..but the same problem I have as of today. Drivers side stopped working 2 days ago, then worked yesterday perfectly fine. Today, doesn't work again. Clicking noise as described in the first post. How do I fix this?

Edit: Fuses checked and were fine.

I am having a problem where the window is stuck in down position. I do not hear a click or a hum oranything. It's just dead, and it's just the driver side window. All others are OK, and my fuse is OK. Don't know what to do.
