hooray for me I'm getting a TII!!!

I'm going to Ohio tommorrow to pick up a red 89 TII

it has 79k on the chasis and 50k on the engine... then add the 700+ miles I get to drive it back into kansas :)

it also has a full racing beat 3" exhaust, 720cc secondaries, BNR Stage 1 modified factory turbo, Aftermarket Turbo inlet duct w/K&N, FCD, Stainless brake and clutch lines, Hawk HP+ pads, and it has some 16" wheels with kumho ecsta tires... I don't really like the look of them but what can ya do ya know? can't be too picky I guess

anyways it's $4000 so I think its a nice buy... I'll post some pictures when I get it home

so anyway, I have a great story already with this car and I've had it less than 24hrs. well after driving 10 1/2 hours I was about half an hour from home finally when I came upon a car you don't see everyday. as I'm driving on the turnpike and there is an acura nsx... wow looked pretty. well to make a long story short we ended up side by side after playing around with each other for awhile... we started around 80 and we pulled side by side to 120 then we both let off because it was sprinkling outside and it was late at night and all so you gotta be safe of course :) but ya it was fun, not a car you get a chance to play with everyday haha

its amazing, its got about twice the horsepower as my NA too. sooooo fun!

I don't like the leather seats though so I'm putting my cloth ones in from the NA and selling the TII seats

I am always interested in S5 RX-7s... How much will you take now for the 91? The original asking price was too much IMO. How much would you take tomorrow in cash?

I decided to part it out then sell whatever is left of it to the junkyard or to anyone else that may want it... so if you want some parts or the TII seats let me know

isnt it red? i could use actually both mirrors but i dont want red and i dont care enough to paint them...

yea it's red, the passenger mirror has a small crack on the side anyway

not selling the whole car, I can make more off it if I part some of it and sell whats left over... and I'm not ready to sell the seats yet because I haven't really looked to see what they go for and I haven't had the time to take them out yet either

a question about your TII, how does it pull in the top end with the upgraded turbo, because the stock one runs out of steam like 6700 rpm

OK...well what about the bad engine and tranny with driveshaft? How much for those together and apart?

nothing has been taken off the car yet and honestly I really don't know whats going to happen with it, the TII seats will be out ASAP though because I really don't like them compared to the seats in my NA. so PM me with your e-mail if you want some pictures of the seats when I get them out

as far as the upgraded turbo goes, it pulls to redline in 1 and 2 but I haven't really tested any further... I've only had the car a few days and today was the first dry one... but I did notice once that 4th gear didn't pull very well on the highway... it seems 5th gear pulls harder than 4th... is that normal? or maybe I'm insane and don't know what I'm talking about haha

why in gods name would 5th pull harder than 4th????

I have no clue.. maybe its because I dropped down and the turbo didn't spool fast enough? that could be it

but I had some fun with it today and 1-3 pull all the way to 7k

oh BTW both of my cars just got towed away about 20 minutes ago... the turbo's starter went out so it is being takin out of the NA hopefully and someone is buying the metering oil pressure sensor from my NA for 400 bucks

hey don't dis the bull man. Mine has the 3.0L Duratec in it, which is a pretty nice motor. its got some nice pull, its a 200hp/200trq motor. Its got a nice flat torque curve. Must remember, I'm married with kids. I need to the room. I plan on changing the exhaust out soon when I can afford it. there isnt much out there for my car, but I will do my best to improve it.

as for the topeka area, I currently live on the edge of potwin, around 1st and macvicar. I'll be moving sometime soon, because we need to get a bigger place due to the wifey expecting.

and D3elic, the part was $1900 new from Mazda so the guy was plenty happy to pay $35 to tow the car to the shop and $400 for the part... and that is why I'm parting the car first because it isn't worth much as is

I have a co worker who lives in the shawnee lake apts over there. I'll take ya for a ride in the bull sometime, and show you she has some grunt to her.

How much are you asking for the T2 seats? I could use some extra seats in case I get another project car sometime...
