Malibu won't start on warm enging

I have a 2000 Malibu LS that won't start when the engine is warm. If it has sat all night it will start right up. Also, at night after work it will start after sitting all day. But, if I run errands (start/stop on short trips) it won't start again for about a 1/2 hour. The battery is fine. Yesterday I was stuck at the gas station after filling up. Somebody helped me push the car to the side. I left it there, came back about an hour later and it started right up.

Any ideas????

Thanks amg23

I used to have a similar problem on my Jeep (actually two different problems that had the same symptoms) couple questions though, does it crank and not want to start or does it not crank at all? if it doesn't crank than it is likely your starter, when the solinoids get old they like to get jammed when the heat from the engine expands the metal, if it does crank but doesn't start you might check your fuel pump or your coil packs, however I'd say there's a good chance it's your starter...best of luck
