My Ford Explorer started running very rough in cold weather, when it warms up it is fine. It also seems to idle a little rough when I stop even after it is warmed up.

When this stated happenning I got a Check Engine light, I had it scanned at the auto shop and it showed a bad Throttle Position Sensor. I replaced the sensor and the check engine light went off but the rough start/idle was still the same.

Here I am 2 weeks later and the check engine light came back on.

Should I have it scanner again? Any idea's what this could be?

Ihad the same problem with 99 explorer sport- turned out to be intake manifol gaskets, $20.00 from the dealer and 3 hours labor
