You can buy a knock-off version (practically same specs) for around $10,000. The other thing is that these engines do not last very long, and for a daily driver would be a terrible idea. SabreKhan 02-18-2005, 12:11 PM daily driver?!? I didn't see anything in his post about a daily driver, but yes, it would be a horrible daily driver. P10DET 02-24-2005, 11:28 PM Uh, I don't think so Tim.... ac427cpe 02-28-2005, 01:55 PM it is a RACE car engine for a reason, the car weighs around 1200 lbs, and can make use of the 240hp high rpm engine. a light street car, roughly double that weight loses the advantage that the engine was designed for. it would be fun in a stripped out light street type car, but nothing that would be on the street as a daily. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
