tires for a 95 jimmy/blazermetallica21156 02-17-2005, 08:06 AM i have a 95 jimmy/blazer its 2dr and its the s15/s10 model. it has a 4.3 and 4X4. i was looking at a set of rims and tires that the rims were 15"X7" wide and the tires that were on them were a set of Bfgoodrich All Terrains the numbers on them was 31X10.5 R15. will they fit my truck at stock hight? also what kind of tire size would you recomend to be good off rad as well as on. the ride doen't have to be great but i want a tire that looks badass on the truck. currently i have the stock tire size on it and stock rims but i plan to get better rims since i want it to look better. BlazerLT 02-17-2005, 03:57 PM What is the P rating on the size. P235/75R/15? metallica21156 02-17-2005, 09:15 PM it doesn't have one some how. i've always known of all tires to have one. the 31X10.5 is the size of the tire. from one side to the other is 31" and the width is 10.5" do you think it will fit? BlazerLt1_s10 02-17-2005, 09:46 PM Well what you need is a 16 wheel that is not alluminum but a steel wheel. American Racing has a wheel that my friend uses off road and they look great dont remember the name right now but I will find out tomarrow. But the wheel that you said you have is to big for off road because when crawling off road the tires will hit when the suspension articulates. So get 16" wheel he said they cost about 75 to 80 dollars a piece. And use a 235/70/16 badland tires by BF Goodrich. or get a suspention lift. hope this helps. rlith 02-17-2005, 09:52 PM 31x10.5 will be fine... I'm currently running 32x10.5 on mine stock... I'll run 33x11.5 once I do my lift... metallica21156 02-18-2005, 02:29 PM i have a friend thats supposed to be bringing over his brothers rim that fits on a sonoma which has a 31X10.5 on it and so we are going to see if it fits. i don't think i'm going to be rock crawling so it doesn't need alot of of room. plus whats on there now are 28" so its only a few more inches. i'll let you know what becomes of it. rlith 02-18-2005, 05:01 PM The 31x10.5 will fit fine. blazee 02-18-2005, 06:41 PM What is the P rating on the size. P235/75R/15? It would be 267/76R/15. .....Doesn't convert to metric real well. metallica21156 02-21-2005, 09:54 AM ok thanks for the info. i'm still trying to see if i can't get his spare to try it out. i just put a new set of rancho RS5000 on the jimmy and it raised it about 1/2" so i don't know if that will help it any but it is a better ride. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
