Not in New York. Buy a one way ticket to Los Angeles and get ready to drive for about 1000 miles. Highway miles you get about 250-300 miles so fill up the tank about 4 times, est. $120 plus the flight $80. Your looking at about $200 for shipping plus you get to break her in for about 20 hours. 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 05:59 PM Exactly what I was thinking Logik logik23 02-18-2005, 06:06 PM Yeah, it's not that bad, I'm about to drive down to New York to see The Gates in Central Park. I'm leaving around 9pm, getting there at like 5-6am, walk around all day and leave tomorrow night (Saturday), getting here Sunday morning and sleeping all day...then back to school on Monday...lol 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:09 PM Damn!! You must really love NY, or your car! mads13 02-18-2005, 06:09 PM You kind of payed alot, but whatever you found your car. If I was gonna buy a car I would buy either of these for less than you paid. I had gotten there before they opened and was the first to get into the car. By the time autotraders updated the price the car was in my garage. :) http://home.earthlink.net/~stormtooper/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/back.jpg http://home.earthlink.net/~stormtooper/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/sidee.jpg http://home.earthlink.net/~stormtooper/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/engine.jpg 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:15 PM Nice pick up man. Body looks good. Damn you got them down from 3g's to $1900. You robbed them. Congrats. logik23 02-18-2005, 06:16 PM Damn!! You must really love NY, or your car! I hate my car, but I'm going with my dad, we'll go half-half for the driving part, and these Gate things are a one time deal, might as well do it. mads13 02-18-2005, 06:22 PM Nice pick up man. Body looks good. Damn you got them down from 3g's to $1900. You robbed them. Congrats. Didnt really rob them the original ad on auto trader had the price at 1995, But since they got over 40 phone calls from the time of 8 am and 9 am they decided to raise the price to 2995. but since i saw the ad for 1995 and was there as they opened i was able to get it for that price. well 1900. As we were getting the paper work done the phone range i say about 30 times in 10 minutes asking for the car. driftking777 02-18-2005, 06:30 PM that first one seems like a killer deal, too bad im so far away....anyone know how much shipping costs?? Man thats what i did with my 240...i drove 1000 miles and drove it back...(1000mi is only about a 15hr drive...12hr if your me...lol)...but shit...i was having so much damn fun the last 12hr drive home...loved it...you should try 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:31 PM At the right place at the right time with 2g's. How many miles? A/T or M/T? 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:34 PM At 1st I hated driving to Santa Barbara, to go visit my girl, which is 115 miles away. Now its a time trial. How fast can I get there in? My fastest time is 1hr 20 min which is from my house to her apartment or else it would be faster if I was only counting freeway time. driftking777 02-18-2005, 06:38 PM i've made it to chicago (oaklawn) from rapid city, south dakota in 11 hours...you do the math...i was haulin...that was in my 87 firebird formula...now that i look back i realize that is a pretty stupid... 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:40 PM Hahahaha. Time trials are always stupid when doing it on freeways because no matter how fast your last time was, it can be beaten. Or at least you'll die trying, LITERALLY. mads13 02-18-2005, 06:40 PM At the right place at the right time with 2g's. How many miles? A/T or M/T? 121k and its a 5 speed runs perfect. driftking777 02-18-2005, 06:40 PM realizin that your average is slightly higher than mine my 91mph to your aprox 92mph...but mine was over alot longer distance :D 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:42 PM LOL. Lot more time to get pulled over by the cops or get in a crash. For the 2 MPH difference you take it. 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 06:49 PM Hey driftking, I think your math is wrong. Going 87MPH for 1hr and 20 min. I would travel 116 miles. You have a faster average. However, you do have a lot more time to go over 90 and increase your average. But thats a long way of travelling really fast. Hit_N_Run-player 02-18-2005, 06:54 PM i would love to do the drive. But i wont have my DL for a few more months. Im still on my permit and my dad would just laugh if i asked him to drive with me 1000miles for a car. 93-240SX-COUPE 02-18-2005, 07:03 PM But have you asked? Its worth a shot. Just make up an excuse like you would really like the father son time and you wanna bond with your pops or something to your mom, and she will do the rest. Trust.
