engine problems

i have a ka24de. when the car is cold the engine has major hesitation. And when i go past 4500 the rpm's barely climb and it feels like the car is gonna blow and it won't go past 5500. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Maybe the oil hasn't thined out enough and hasn't spred enough through the engine, you shouldn't push the car when it's not warmed up.

no i don't push it when it cold it even hesitate around 2500. But when the engine is warm it still won't let me go past 5500

what d u mean... the fuel cuts off? dz the rpm bounce at 5000rpm? or just stops at 5000 rpm?
sounds like ur motor is just dying.. get a new one!

I would get that crap checked out... Maybe youre trannys going out because on an auto i know for sure once the tranny is toasted it starts to hesitate and maxes out pretty easy

hmmmm i just bought this motor too. Well me and some friends are gonna check the timing this weekend but damn if i have to get a new motor that sucks.
