My heater core has been going out for some time. -film on interior windows, headaches after longer drives- :disappoin I have a couple of buddies that are mechanics & they have offered to help. I'm guessing I have to pull the dash to get to the Core. Does anyone know or done this before? Thanks

yeah, unfortunately, the dash has to come out to access the heater core. If you have A/C, go on and get it discharged b/c the evaporator and heater core are in the same housing that'll have to come out once that dash is out; your truck is not that bad; there's only 8 screws that hold it in place, after you have lowered the steering wheel and disconnected every electrical connector known to man behind the dash.
