Removing the resonatorprsoto21 02-15-2005, 11:35 AM Has anyone removed their resonator? I am getting a rumble from below, and it has a small hole in it. A patch kit lasted a few months, but I'm wondering what are the pros and cons of removing it. Thanks kruelen83 03-08-2005, 03:58 PM I have my ubend and resonator removed and I dont think it sounds bad at all in fact I dont really even notice it. Ridenour 03-08-2005, 07:49 PM It may make your exhaust sound a little poppy, but I'm not sure what it'll sound like on yours exactly. It'd be only like a 1-2 horse gain, if that's all you're removing. BNaylor 03-09-2005, 11:03 PM It may make your exhaust sound a little poppy, but I'm not sure what it'll sound like on yours exactly. Ridenour 03-10-2005, 10:05 PM Yeh that's what I've heard. I never removed mine - I considered it, and people said that it sounded like popcorn at idle, and got annoying driving it for a long time from the constant rumbling. I would personally vouche against it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
