Missingbroman1960 02-15-2005, 10:37 AM I have a 1989 Dodge Spirit with the 2.5 4 cyl, non turbo, I changed the coil, rotor, spark plugs, wires, o2 sensor, egr valve, and while driving at moderate speeds the car :banghead: will start to miss like maybe the tranny is slipping. I checked the fluid levels and all are good except I noticed that there were some airbubbles in the fluid. Does any one know what is going on? :banghead: orangewreck11 02-15-2005, 10:44 AM check your iac had a daytona with the same problem as for bubles in the trans probly wrong fluid if it is foming some is normal try flushing it at a shop with correct fluid broman1960 02-15-2005, 10:46 AM sorry to sound dumb what is a iac? theFREAKnasty82 02-15-2005, 04:44 PM Idle Air Control valve. Also, make sure you have the right spark plugs in the engine that have the correct heat range; a plug w/ the wrong heat range will give you that same problem. Champion's RNCY1134 is the best plug to use on that engine. orangewreck11 02-16-2005, 10:06 AM iac=idle air control i know it hapens when driving but if the iac is stuck could cause problems broman1960 02-16-2005, 03:10 PM Thanks for all the posts, it turns out the last mechanic I had put in the 4 prong 02 sensor and it was the wrong one, the car was running lean and it was changed today and :lol2: badda bing it is working great vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
