J SPEC SilEighty 02-14-2005, 05:47 PM Buy it, put a brick on the gas pedal and see how long it can rev before blowing up. Come up with something creative and be sure to film it. You can't go wrong for $25 bucks Hehe I just remembered this from a video I saw a long time ago of an rx-7. The motor was already going to shit so they decided to do this. It ran at 9000rpm for about 15 minutes then finally blew. monooxide 02-14-2005, 05:50 PM I think ill just run the crap out of it until were tired or get a ticket for no insurance! D-Bo 02-14-2005, 05:59 PM well considering its probably a 1.3 3-cyl.. blowing it up wouldn't be such a sight to see. but its still a hilarious idea.. i'd say buy it.. run it into everything you can monooxide 02-14-2005, 06:04 PM Yea running it on premium is that what you meant run it on everything? Or run it on dirt and pavement and...stuff? Im just afraid of flipping it since i dont care about it... EDIT: if you cant see my picture in my sig...please PM me on how to...thanks driftking777 02-14-2005, 06:26 PM yea buy the geo...and rally the piss out of it...video it for sure...try to make a ramp... D-Bo 02-14-2005, 06:32 PM do you ever take it off any sweet jumps? monooxide 02-14-2005, 06:35 PM Ill use my friend joshs camera EDIT: LOL ill even hand draw a map and keep looking down at it and telling him what kind of turn is coming up. And well wear really bbig helmets(if you've ever seen a rally from an inside car point its kind of funny). What should I do to keep it from flipping and if it does flip? Will we get hurt pretty bad or should we be fine? XeVeNskyLiNE 02-14-2005, 07:24 PM hmmm, i think u guys would be screwed if that hoopty flipped over. i'm guessing the roof on that thing isnt too strong. but then again, its not like its 3000lbs car, so i duno. but my money is on you guys biting the dust hard when you roll over. monooxide 02-14-2005, 07:48 PM Ok well take it easy then Hit_N_Run-player 02-14-2005, 09:30 PM do you have a welder? just well stom steel to hold the roof up and stuff. Create a simple roll cage. You should get like 4inch exhaust and some 100spoke 12" rims and bust around town like your the shit lol XeVeNskyLiNE 02-14-2005, 09:32 PM well, i didnt say you had to do all that........lol but like they say at the pee-soaked public swimming pools, "proceed at your own risk". or was it swim at your own risk? eh i duno, but you get the point. logik23 02-14-2005, 09:43 PM I don't think the problem is the roof coming in, it's you going up (or down when you're upside down) cause the seat belts probably suck, get some harnesses and you'll be good.....or don't, it'll be funnier. Audi1984 02-14-2005, 09:47 PM I think that you should put on a rear sway bar...really huge...and go to a drifting event....and get a LED exhaust tip...even though its more then the original price of the car... monooxide 02-14-2005, 09:52 PM Good ideas..but we dont want to insure this car? Sooo...were just gonna try to bust some drifts in it on dirt...its a 5Spd(4 Spd?!?!?) maybe but if its auto thatll prob be better seeing that i dont want him dropping the clutch at like 5000 RPMs and burning it out...i actually want this to be a play car for a long time! I think we can just take the exhaust cut it off at the header and run a custom welded exhaust out the side of it. SHIFT_KA24DE 02-14-2005, 09:53 PM somebody's got plans for the weekend. haha... good deal. buy it. It's probably as much fun as driving around a golf cart. haha... i'd definitely try and do some crazy stunts in the rain or something. by the way monooxide... that's a very nice coupe... and i guess that would answer your question... yes, we can see it. monooxide 02-14-2005, 09:58 PM yea if we can get a hold of this guy...the car will disappear off the Department of Transportations list of crap holes on the road. Yea thanks for complementing my car...yea it works :D Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
