I have a friend in another state who saw an El Camino for sale. It had SS on the side. What do I tell him to identify that it is really an SS? If it
is I will travel to see about buying it.

the cowl plate will have the id for an ss. go to www.elcaminocentral and they have all the specs on how to id all the proformance packages.
