Car ran, but only in 1st gear. Fixed with $50 speed sensor from Ford. Sensor is located in front of fuel filter under brake stuff on flat part of transaxle, remove battery tray and air intake. When top part of sensor breaks off just drill down an inch and a half, tap, then use a big socket and a long bolt as an extractor. Adding washers to top of socket helps get more bite. I tried using the fork that holds it in place to pry it up, grinding under and chiseling, but tapping it out was the only thing that worked.
