If I remember correctly the tires were 225/55 16 in size from the factory, they filled the wheel wells ok - I like the 17" upgrade myself, but the 16" ones from the factory were nice , handled well, and gavce the car good overall handling. aLtiMaRuLeS 02-18-2005, 02:08 PM my brother has a 1997 max with 17 inch rims with low profiles and to tell you the truth they look like bike tires!
