JWT POP Cold Air extension???"G"-sus! 03-18-2002, 02:11 AM I have a JWT POP installed in my ride. I saw this Ractive air intake extension kit. It says may also work w/ other filters w/ mods & custom work. Does anyone have one of these??? I'm not sure if the elbow is big enough to cover my JWT POP??? This thing looks easy enough too make!!! I would hook the other end of hose to wheel fender (where CAI goes). Opinions Here is where the little sucka is: http://store.autotoys.com/cgi-bin/wfp53024.storefront "G"-sus! 03-21-2002, 12:32 AM Thanks for all the help guys LOL :finger: I've read that "resonant" air is what give CAI more power, but can a tube like that give "resonant" air or does it have to occur after the JWT POP to work??? Tanks 4 nuttin' :D TIZAO 03-21-2002, 03:14 PM My friend used a hose, I swear it came from his dryer! HE says that works! LOL and its cheap!:alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka: :flash: "G"-sus! 03-22-2002, 08:21 PM That probably would do the same as CAextension, BUT I can't F with a slinky dryer hose in my engine. I might try it just to see if it works, but I'll never admit to it!:D L8R TIZAO 03-22-2002, 09:51 PM Let me know if you do! Cuz I was thinkin of doing it! :alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka: :flash: TIZAO 03-22-2002, 09:52 PM Actually though, his was metal cuz he put his filter on the end of it! :alien: :bloated: :smoka: :flash: redvalkrie 03-25-2002, 04:45 PM He it doesn't hurt to just try it with the dryer hose/slinky. Drive around for a week, you feel any performance gains then do it the right way go out & bend some aluminum piping. Ask around & metal bending shops see how much it would cost to get 1 bent corectly then powder coat the thing, so it won't rust!:) "G"-sus! 03-25-2002, 08:52 PM I was gonna do it this weekend. I had the hose and clamps already at my house. When I went to attach the hose to the top of my JWT POP I realized how wide the top is ( I guess the opening makes the top look smaller). I didn't wanna RIGG this thing up any more than it was gonna be! LOL I'll just hafta wait 'til my laZy ass finds something to fit better. I know that Ractive won't fit over it. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/212487JWTPOP.jpg L8R vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
