battery dies

hey i'm a newbie on this forum, i'm posting for my father, he has an 86 grand marquis that is having trouble with electrical systems, the battery "dies" after charging it, one morning he went out to start it and it was dead, we charged it and it ran but as soon as he shut it off and tried to turn it back on as soon as he went to start it everything cut out, and there is a noise even with the car off n keys out when you shut the driver and passenger door, when you open the door the noise stops, any help would be greatly appreciated, also could someone post a fuse diagram for the fusebox under the dash next to the steering wheel, it says check owners manual but we don't have one, we were gonna try n remove the intererior light fise to see if it stops the problem for now. thanks guys!

Check for sticking EEC or fuel pump relays.
