to make clear tails for a 2nd gen cavy is really pretty simple it just takes a lot of time. first buy some lexan plastic from home depot or some other place, take a dremal tool and cut around the edge of the red plastic leaving the black lines intact. then simply glue in the clear plastic pieces. if you want a clear but hazed look rub the back side of plactic just before you put it in with laqure thinners and it should make it hazed. if you have any questions just ask.

Whats up? I'm new so I'm just checking it out but your telling me that I can get/make clear taillights for 1994 Cavalier. I've never seen it done.

What I want to do to my car is get rid of the lights that are useless and then make a panel out of sheet metal that can be put in their place.

So essentially I'll have just the outer part of the lights that are there now and I would move my liscense plate to the actual bumper.

Could it be done?

I also added a really quickly done pic in Paint. Looks bad but it gets the point across!

I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks A Lot to anyone that does reply!!!!

Dan.
