Silverado Badges and Removal

I am currently doing surgery (see http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=360965 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=360965)) on my 1988 Chevrolet Silverado 2wd.

I would like to put new badges on it after I paint it. I am planning on painting it either grey or cobalt black. What I am looking for is someone who has taken the hardend plastic badges off their 99 and newer Silverados that are still in decent condition. I would be willing to pay a resonable price for them. I really want the ones that go on the tail gate. The ones that say "Chevrolet" and "Silverado" seperately. If you also have the ones that say "1500" I would take them also. i might have some for you, new from the factory that you can just stick on. i'll see what i can do.

i bought new Z71 badges from the dealer they were not very expensive at all ,though i havent checked on the badges you are looking for i cant imagine those being very much either.....just a thought dont know how plentiful used badges would be.

Well i'm on a fixed budget so I cant spend alot....at least that's what my wife says!

I was just wondering. If I can't find any used to put on I will be looking on ebay.

i still have mine off the tailgate,their sittin in my room, ill have to check if they are worth using again. I might of bent them up a bit while prying them off.

Mine should be in the garage in a box somewhere, I will hunt around for them and if I find them you can have them. I save everything so they should be here unless they didn't make it in the big move from phoenix to kansas.
