Jeep GC97

I have grand cherokee 97 6cy . the problem when i try turn left while pressing the gas i feel like the car stuck , one time it stuck at all and i was in need to stop/restart engine ,it went good after that , turn right work well , no other problems yet , any one have idea what happened and how to fix it ??
