I have it, but I haven't started it. From the looks of it, it's a great kit detail-wise, and I'm sure whatever fitment issues may arrise are solveable and won't matter for a kit like that. Mine has a PE set as well

Built it some time ago and dont remember any particular problems with it. Just study the instructions and you should be fine. White decals are pretty translucent.

I built this kit many years ago. One of my first models, so in fact my Dad probably built most of it! Still got it somewhere in the attic and it doesn't look too bad. However, I built the road version not long ago and there were a few minor fitment issues but nothing serious. I would love to get hold of another, but I haven't seen one for ages.

If anyone is interested, I have a XJ-S Cabrio kit I could sell. Looks like I don't have any time to build it anyway...

Read that, but thought - since you asked - you might have an idea...

I bought this kit at NNL West last month for $10, complete and unassembled except two body parts were glued on. Pretty cool kit, lots of PE stuff, seat belt material, and rubber hoses for the brake ducts. I noticed there are a lot of unused parts in it, are these for the street version? I was thinking of building mine as a high performance street version instead of the race car on the box cover.

Here it is. Bonnet is detachable to show quite abit of engine detail but these are the only pics I have.
