NB8CT 03-17-2002, 10:21 AM http://www.bn-sports.co.jp/laurel/image/b_laurel_r.jpg Just if any one wanted to know what the hell this car looks like........ I'm Feelin' Fresh 03-19-2002, 06:46 PM How much hp do they have? cadet 05-06-2002, 08:39 PM its a family car, engines range from a 97hp diesel to 215/250hp turbo six (nissan RB series). Jay! 05-06-2002, 08:45 PM Looks like a 3rd gen Maxima on steroids. I like it! :D cadet 05-07-2002, 09:24 PM Yeah, that body kit flatters it but they look ok. For anyone interested (C33) laurels are based on the R32 skyline platform but have struts up front and are not as sporty. I have seen a few turned into drift cars which is easy to do if you get a RB20DET version, some people even put SR20's into them. I have heard of but never seen 4wd versions but most are rwd which is fine with me;) Sadiztik 06-11-2002, 04:27 PM thats a really nice car in a late 80's kinda way did it have the same engine options as the skyline cadet 06-11-2002, 07:21 PM Originally posted by Sadiztik did it have the same engine options as the skyline more or less: RD28, RB20E, RB20DE, RB20DET and in later models RB25's. some new versions come with ATTESA ETS PRO, as per R34 GT-R :) but no RB26 :( Sadiztik 06-11-2002, 07:47 PM oh well your lucky the USA sucks cadet 06-11-2002, 08:52 PM Yeah, NZ's a good place to be if you're into the modified import scene, reasonably loose laws for modifications and plenty of variety at a good price. Every place has its good points. Per 10-06-2002, 06:29 AM some pictures of my 1987 C32 3.0SGX Hp:170-180 Per 10-06-2002, 06:41 AM the engine! kaiindia 08-13-2004, 07:14 AM Hi, I have a 96 laurel and the cam belt came loose the tensioner was gone and the engine came to a halt. The cam was changed and so was the tensioner. Now the engine has lost power and seems to be missing. Any ideas. Thanks thegladhatter 10-01-2004, 11:28 PM This is my son's newest acquisition. It is a really nice Laurel. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/168043blacklaurelfront.JPG My question is... Why have so many Laurels here been engine swapped to SR20DETs? His still has an RB20DET, (with several mods) but we are seeing lots of Laurels with swaps lately. This is the look he is going for (only in black): http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=503/168043laurel.JPG cadet 10-03-2004, 08:57 PM That looks like a nice car but it is a C34 right? If he can get it looking like the yellow C33 I'd like to see it. Are you sure it has an RB20, I though the C34's mostly had RB25's? Fitting an SR20 to one of these can help the weight distribution and make it handle better and its a good motor. The straight sixes still go well though and they sound much nicer. thegladhatter 10-04-2004, 12:20 AM C33 thegladhatter 10-28-2004, 01:55 AM C33 Junior just secured an RB26DETT for this toy! thegladhatter 10-28-2004, 01:58 AM http://response.jp/event/auto-salon/image/4528.jpg Here's a nice one. thegladhatter 11-10-2004, 05:16 AM 1992 Laurel C33 http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/168043jo1-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/168043jo2-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/168043jo3-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/168043jo4-med.jpg It has a really strong running RB20DET in it, but Jr has snagged this GREAT RB26DETT to park in it. That is the week end project. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/168043jo5-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/168043jo6-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/168043jo7-med.jpg cadet 11-11-2004, 01:52 AM Nice! I can say with certainty that cars this size go very well with an RB26 and your one looks like it has been modified a bit? The car looks good too, better than it did in the first pic  thegladhatter 01-31-2005, 06:21 PM C33 project car here.http://www.quickstyle.org/jo3.jpg (http://lpwebber.tripod.com/quickstyle/id5.html) white_monkey 06-03-2005, 05:04 AM my mom had one of those when i lived in japan 3 years ago, she still has the key Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
