3rd Gen 4Runner Suspension, tires, and brushguardsLaxxplyr 02-07-2005, 01:22 PM I want to put my 01 4Runner on 33" tires. Will a 3" lift kit be enough to give those tires clearance? I put 31" tires on my stock F150, but had to take a sledge hammer to the front bumper. I dont want to do this to my Toy....Also, how functional have you guys found brushguards to be? I want to put one on the truck, but since the wife gets to drive it to work everyday, she doesnt want one, and it has stayed that way since.... If I can get some good feedback about how brushguards have saved your frontends, then i will be able to use that as ammo against her wishes... :evillol: We are going to start getting involved in the local trail running scene around here, and I would really like to keep the dents away from my truck. I also have plans to install an atractive set of rocksliders. jethro358 02-07-2005, 01:58 PM The only thing a brushguard will protect you from is a basketball. They cause so much more damage to your front end. Run a search on a TJM-15. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
