When I got my new Primera 2.0 Auto last month, I was overjoyed. It feel so much better than my 1.6 Sunny previously.

The steering wheel is smaller, much sportier, and it comes with leather for both the steering and auto gear shift.

However, the e-brake (or handbrake) is normal plastic and it doesn't blend in. I took it to a company that make leather seats for car and asked them to make a leather for me.

They did a great job, the handle is wrap with the new graphite like leather with a bag (with normal leather) to cover the wedge, much like what you have in Skyline. By doing this, the handle is slightly rounder and bigger, much better feel than before. I paid about US$48 for this job ( I think is on the high side).

I recommend this mod, it will ook much better in your Primera/G20.

I think the G20 owners are spoiled. Mine has the leather ebrake stock.

Congratulations on your new purchase. I bought my G20 a month ago after an old man totaled my 1991 Sentra (1.6). It is almost the same as an older Sunny. I think you will find that the Primera has superior handling and far fewer rattles and squeaks, and you get more of a "luxury" sound when you shut the doors. (Does anyone else judge a car by the door shut noise?)

Anyway, welcome to AF.

Yep.

Audi/VW make the best noise IMHO.
