Hi, I own a 1995 V6 and I am looking to swap to a V8. I just wanted to know if the 4.6L in a 1995 Thunderbird will swap into my Mustang. Also if it will bolt to my T-5 transmision. Thank you.

I do not know the particulars of the conversion, V-6 to V-8.
I do know the exhaust manifolds for the mustang 4.6L are different from the Thunderbird 4.6L and more importantly, pre '96 ("94 & '95) 4.6L engines are junk, specifically the cylinder heads & intake manifold.
'96, '97 & '98 4.6L engines are more desirable than the '94/'95 4.6L engines because the cylinder heads can accept aftermarket or PI camshafts.
The most desirable SOHC 4.6L engines are the '99 & after P.I. engines.
A lot of Thunderbird owners have been swapping in the all aluminum '02/'03 Explorer 4.6L engines, which are P.I. engines, that weigh about 75-80 less than the Mustang engines.
Look on page 3 of My Car Domain (http://www.cardomain.com/id/tigerstar) for pics that show the differences between NPI '96, '97 & '98 cylinder heads / intake manifold and PI '99-'04 cylinder heads / intake manifold.

The biggest headache would be swapping the ECM and wiring. Most people that think about doing swaps like you are thinking about end up selling or trading their 3.8 car for one with a 4.6.
