Are there any? I'm trying to decide whether I should do it if I get big rims (only if I rub), and I just want to see if there are any downsides to it. Thanks.

the only disadvantage of rolling the fenders is that the paint may crack, but that would only happen if some fool doesnt know what hes doing

Ok, hold on - for those of us who do not know - what the heck are "rolling the felders"?

Well basically what you do is you take a bat to your car.
I don't really know how to exactly, I've seen diagrams, but didn't really look through them thoroughlly yet. But I think you take a bat, stick the sucker in the wheel well gap, and you roll the bat around to bend your fender out a little more. I think I'm right, correct me if I'm wrong, someone who's more experienced in this field.

yeah that is what rolling the fenders is, but i see no point to do it.

Well some people do it because their rims won't fit in their wheel well.
That's why I'm wondering if there are any downsides to it.

Theres a small metal lip on the fender. Go feel it on your car now. That can sometimes rub on larger tires. Be like me, cut it completely off for maximum room, front and rear :cool:

You cut it?!?! How does it look? Do you have any pics? If you cut it is it still smooth?

It looks the same from the outside, its just the small lip underneath is gone. And if you got the right power tools, you can get it smooth.
