Rear end bump after stoppingstriker6 02-03-2005, 12:21 AM about a half second after stopping, whether fast and hard or super slow and easy, I hear/feel a slight bump from the rear axle. Almost as if the pressure is off the rear end and something is "relaxing". Drivetrain, brakes... who knows. Any ideas? ccb73 02-26-2005, 11:34 PM about a half second after stopping, whether fast and hard or super slow and easy, I hear/feel a slight bump from the rear axle. I talked to a nissan tech and he said it was a normal sound from the tranny. Take it out of overdrive and see if it stops, if it stops it's normal. 88pathoffroad 10-11-2006, 10:56 PM Could be worn rear axle control arm bushings as well.
