INITIAL D REAL LOCATION DRIVING VIDEO(don't miss it)peter i 02-02-2005, 10:30 PM For you Gamers and comic/anime fans out there........ Believe me ,it's a real thing! http://isshixi.cool.ne.jp/d_touge_zissou_douga.html Aerowitz 02-03-2005, 12:59 AM I tip my hat to you for finding such a great site. Thanks! eps 02-03-2005, 02:34 AM Whaaaaaaaaat! Thats insain! This has to be staged somehow, the courses match exactly! Tony 02-03-2005, 03:34 AM That is some crazy shit...too bad the sound effects were added in. drftk1d 02-03-2005, 04:54 PM yeah ding ding ---- ding ding. thats so funny! 1viadrft 02-03-2005, 09:16 PM Kinda cool... sound effects killed it though... some of the vid's look like they were speede up to make it look like the cars were going faster. Nice touge action over-all though! Aerowitz 02-04-2005, 01:54 AM Yeah, it sounds like they revved up a lawnmower or a weed-whacker for the sounds. That or they used a Geo Metro... :) And eps, the game/anime/manga courses were modeled after the real courses, so it's kind of expected that they would match. The only differences I found were that the jumps on Irohazaka are gravel/dirt in the game, and high grass in real life. Guess it sucks if you actually wanted to jump it... HKS Evo 02-04-2005, 09:11 PM Its just a car going round normally at normal speed. The camera man trying to fool you by delaying the movement when turning corners, as though its drifting darkclark 02-06-2005, 09:45 PM my name is spencer clark that was my protoge and andrew just took the pictures and that jetta not exactly his wink wink (caught you) Aerowitz 02-07-2005, 12:41 PM my name is spencer clark that was my protoge and andrew just took the pictures and that jetta not exactly his wink wink (caught you) I dunno who you are, but if it's out of "respect for the dead", I'll remove the picture. And the Jetta IS mine. I worked my ass off in the years of 1999 and 2000 with the Parks and Recreation Department of Manhattan to pay the $12,000 for a GL, and I have the title to prove it. You got me with the Protege, I'll grant you that, and I'm sorry, but you've got the wrong guy altogether. The cardomain page with the Protege pic was, if I remember correctly, penned under the name "Andrew". Maybe that's the guy you're thinking of. Again, the picture will be removed, and the lesson has been learned. Hopefully on both ends. darkclark 02-07-2005, 09:12 PM the kid who took that pic of my ex cars mom had a jetta Aerowitz 02-07-2005, 11:07 PM "Ex Car"? What happened to it? I'll try to find that cardomain site, but it was pretty old. Hadn't been updated in a LONG time, like somewhere in early 2003. xXRyCe_R0CkEtXx 02-08-2005, 11:47 AM damn...sounds nice...but can't view it right now cuz the site is blocked on this comp for "pornography" or some shiet lol Aerowitz 02-08-2005, 11:19 PM Lol the site is completely in Japanese, and it doesn't even say anything close to porn anywhere! Guess your computer is batty... Aerowitz 02-08-2005, 11:23 PM DarkClark, I got his old email address. Hope it works. a_corson@hotmail.com Sixthgeargod 02-23-2005, 01:22 PM Whaaaaaaaaat! Thats insain! This has to be staged somehow, the courses match exactly! If you dont know all the courses in initial d were modeled exactly after real roads in japan. if you search long enough you can find the actual maps they use and where each course is. AE86_rocks 03-07-2005, 06:28 PM HAHAHAHAHHA, wow i cant believe you were all tricked. If you notice he fast forwards it and if he was drifting the camera would be facing the inside of the turn. Anyways.....the tracks were modeled off real places in Japan. For example, Mt.Akina is actually Mt.Haruna. If you dont believe me then check this out. And if u still don't, then its alright because i've actually been there and its the same:) (http://initialdheaven.netfirms.com/realworld.shtml) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
