First off, HELLO!

This is my first post but i have been lookin' for a while and gained a lot of info from you all. (So, THANKS!)

I was wondering if anyone had made or seen any F40 race cars. I want to create a fantisy F40 in a Camel colour scheme (have the decels left over from the Tamiya 99T i made with JPS branding)

I want to use the Tamiya F40 for the project.
Any ideas of what i can do to make it look more like a race car?

Many thanks!

Hi!

It would be best to start with the Fujimi Ferrari F40LM kit like this one.

Here's one I have started.

Welcome to AF Bobble  There were several F40s raced in the mid nineties at Le Mans and in various GT series. They were fitted with larger rear wing, nose spoilers and lots of vents and ducts. There are examples being built in the Motorsports folder right now. My favourite is the French Blue Pilot sponsored car.
