bleeddodge will probably have a list of the common problems for ya, but you may want to check into the VSS, or vehicle speed sensor. On some trucks it is located on the tranny, some it is on the rear axle, and it can cause all kinds of problems.

Find out what codes you have.

Let us know.

Looks Like The Codes Are 12 43 42 443 43 55 Does That Sound Right?

Double check the codes for good measure.

Seems like you have a misfire, that would explain the shaking. Could be the fault of a bad plug wire, or some bad injectors, or maybe something else?

I Doubled And Tripled Checked The Codes. They Are 12 43 43 43 43 55

I wonder why it would give you the same code four times over? Maybe that means there are misfires on four cylinders? I don't know about that.

12 means the battery was recently disconnected. No big deal.

55 means end of codes, everyone knows that, but I just found this at the top of that page:

"55 is end of codes - it's normal. Before you call your dealer or mechanic, consider that the blink-spacing is not always perfectly uniform, so if you see 23 23, it's probably just a single 55. (Codes are not repeated.)"

That means the thing I said about four possible misfires is false. But look at this:

43 Peak primary coil current not achieved with max dwell time
OR
43 Cylinder misfire
OR
43 Problem in power module to logic module interface

I remember you mentioned a code 42 before, so look at this:

42 Automatic shutdown relay circuit open or shorted
42 Fuel pump relay control circuit
42 Fuel level unit - no change over miles
OR
42 Z1 voltage missing when autoshutdown circuit energized (SEE NOTE #6)

Could be a number of things. I'd take it in.
