hi
first post here, but I have been reading your discussions for a few months.

I want to do a suspension lift on our 2000 Xterra. Iknow there are several....
I ran into a guy who used the Rancho kit and is happy so far (only 2 wheelin trips though).
I've read that the Calmini kits have bad busshings and are tougher to install.
A lot of people say Spencer Low but, SLR's website is gone (today in Feb 1 05)
I see Auto Customizers has a kit, but who makes it?

Are there other options?
What is your experience with the Rancho lift? Rancho says it corrects the bearing angle. is that true?
I like the Rancho I have on my '97 Chevy Tahoe.

Any help is appreciated
Thanks in Advance

Skip the Rancho. Really.

Calmini and SLR are both quality lifts. Many mix their components as I'm sure you've read if you've been researching the forums here. The main advantage of SLR is that their parts are built for serviceability/greasing and you get a bit more droop on the front UCA.

SLR's web site is down as they're upgrading it (should be going in a day or two). Calmini just finished upgrading theirs.

I wouldn't suggest investing in any AC stuff.

I voted for the Calmini lift..I run it and love it..I am using Bilstein 20% stiffer shocks over the Calmini ones....
