FLOWMASTER named title sponsor of American Drag Racing League;
more than $500,000 in prize money to be awarded in 2005

St. Peters, Mo. (Jan. 31, 2005) — The American Drag Racing League and FLOWMASTER, Inc. announced today a multi-year agreement naming FLOWMASTER as the title sponsor of the new American Drag Racing League (ADRL). Effective immediately, the ADRL will be known as the FLOWMASTER American Drag Racing League. As part of the agreement, FLOWMASTER will also be the official exhaust technology company of the ADRL.

"We are thrilled to have an industry leader and*nationally recognized brand such as FLOWMASTER as a marketing partner," ADRL President Kenny Nowling said. "I believe this partnership*is*a testament to the potential marketing power of the ADRL.

"Our entire staff worked around the clock to get this deal done prior to the start of our inaugural season on Feb. 25 in Hattiesburg, Miss. “Being able to*grow the ADRL from the beginning with*FLOWMASTER as a partner is something we are obviously very excited about."

FLOWMASTER Vice President of Sales and Marketing Richard Small was equally excited. "After having seen the potential of the ADRL first-hand last October at DRAGSTOCK, we knew immediately that it was*an organization*that we wanted to be involved with," Small said. "The Outlaw Pro Mods are*as wild and entertaining as any class in drag racing. "The ADRL's*grassroots, unlimited style of drag racing is something we feel our current and potential customers have been*longing for. “Everyone at FLOWMASTER*is excited to be a part of bringing this style of drag racing to fans all across America."

Two of the six 2005 FLOWMASTER ADRL events will also feature AMS Staff Leasing Pro Mod Challenge Presented by TLR championship points-earning races.

“Being a part of the 2005 AMS/TLR Pro Mod championship points chase will definitely be an added attraction for our fans,” said ADRL Vice President of Marketing John Spar. “It will be great to have names such as defending AMS/TLR Pro Mod World Champion Mike Ashley, Scotty Cannon, and Rickie Smith competing with ADRL stars such as Jason Scruggs, John Lynam, Eddie Ware and Bil Clanton, to name a few.”

Also announced today was the largest purse and championship payout in Outlaw Pro Mod history, featuring prize money and championship bonuses totaling more than $500,000 for the six-race 2005 season.

“Outlaw Pro Mods compete nearly every weekend all over America for little or no money on unprepared race tracks with less than desired safety equipment,” explained ADRL Vice President of Competition AJ Ashe. “Our partnership with FLOWMASTER will not only allow us to pay our racers a significant amount of money, but, more importantly, we will be able to provide them with a first-class racing surface and safety crew.”
