Any one with one (383)I also would like to hear from ya. i thought this thread was dead,, what do you have for parts so far ??? y2kminuteman 10-13-2005, 11:40 PM Sorry I guess I am late on this post didn't notice the post date,I was just happy to see someone also building a 383 small block chevy. It's damn near a mirror project as the one above. I am wondering which hormonic ballancer to use the 350 or the 400 as they are totaly diffrent in the way they work. I have a book "BIG INCH chevy small blocks" but it is kind of gray on that section. I'm sure the machine shop will know unless some one out there knows. I would like to compare notes with any one that has built or has knowledge about this motor. I have heard nothing but good things about this motor(383) I haven heard anything bad yet.......... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
