Can someone do me a favor?JoshBarber 02-01-2005, 08:15 AM Those of you that have no leaks and or wetness in your Blazer........ Would any of you be willing to take 2 minutes to check this out for me? can you grab a container of water, and pour it steadily into the small drain hole directly under your drivers side wiper (careful not to let it over flow and move towards the passenger side. I want to know where it this drain hole drains water from outside the body. When water drains through this hole on my Blazer, it never reappears, and I'm assuming this is why I have a wet drivers side floor. Thanks so much. JoshBarber 02-01-2005, 01:25 PM noone's had a chance to check this for me yet? I'm just trying to locate WHERE this drain should be exiting the vehicle so I can track down where theres a blockage. Thanks whoever steps up Officer Redneck 02-01-2005, 02:20 PM noone's had a chance to check this for me yet? Thanks whoever steps up I just poured it in mine and came out just behind the driver side front tire. JoshBarber 02-01-2005, 04:06 PM I just poured it in mine and came out just behind the driver side front tire. Hey man, I really appreciate you stepping up and taking a second to help me out. That's where I thought it was supposed to drain from, as it's where the passenger side drains from as well. Now I gotta figure out HOW you get to the place where it's coming in the vehicle. ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET INTO THE COMPARTMENT WHERE THE DRIVERS SIDE DRAIN IS? toenailclippers 02-01-2005, 04:29 PM Try this...Take your blazer to an automatic car was, and go through it with YOU inside. that way, you can see where the water is coming in at. that should help toenailclippers 02-01-2005, 04:29 PM its car wash, not "was" JoshBarber 02-01-2005, 04:30 PM its car wash, not "was" thanks bro. one step ahead of ya. did it, and didnt see anything drip unfortunately! Alexxn 00 Si 02-01-2005, 05:56 PM Why not just setup a garden hose with a sprayer, rig it up to keep a steady spray on the front of your truck with you inside...I've seen them do that at the dealership looking for leaks. HTH JoshBarber 02-01-2005, 06:01 PM Why not just setup a garden hose with a sprayer, rig it up to keep a steady spray on the front of your truck with you inside...I've seen them do that at the dealership looking for leaks. HTH I'm 99.9% sure that it's coming from the water drain hole directly under the drivers side wiper. When water drains through the hole on the passenger side under the wiper, it drains outside underneath the vehicle just behind the front passenger tire. When water drains through the hole on the drivers side, it never reappears.....although, my floor matt gets soaked again. I've physically poured water INTO that drain hole with everything dried off, and the matts up, and watched inside for ANY sign of moisture, and saw NOTHING. I'm at the point where I'm considering sticking some sort of hose through the drain hole and letting it exit somewhere OUTSIDE the vehicle....possibly through the same exit in the door jam.
