Brown stain on front seat cover????Zgringo 01-31-2005, 02:30 PM Last night I took the beast out (my Z32 street car) and picked up a friend. We were just kinda tooling around, and back in my mind hoping to meet this red 05 Vette I keep seeing in town but never getting to run him cause everytime I see him I'm in my Volvo. Not much going on in town, so my bud an I deside to head out to El Dorado, about 5 miles north of town and check it out. Well at the last gas station in town, what to my wondering eyes should appear coming out of the gas station but the nice red Vette. I start slowing down to see what direction he's going, and yealing all the time, "There's my fuckin Vette, there he is." At this point my rider thinks I'm a nut, just setting there not saying a word, just stairing at me. Luck be it the Vette was coming my way. He fell in behind me for awhile then started to pass. As he got along side me I laid on it and at +-120MPH the Vette fell in behind me and blinked his lights. I pulled over and he stopped behind me. We both got out and met between the cars an BS'd. He wanted to know what kind car mine was and I told him a 1991 Nissan 300ZX, with a V6. He told me about his car and told me it does better from a dead stop, and asks if I'd like to go for it? Trying not to act to excited, and about to piss my pants with joy, I tell him to beep his horn 3 times, on the 3rd beep we go. Agreed, I get back into my car, open my nitrous bottles, arm the switch, purge the system and I'm ready. I pull into the left lane as it's a 2 lane road and wait for the beeps. My rider asks whats going on? I inform him at this point were gonna race, and the horn starts beeping. On the 3rd were off, and I must say I did a picture perfect launch, then second gear second stage spray, 3rd gear more spray and 4th 150MPH and time to shut down, it's all over. Another one bites the dust. Not by alittle but ALOT. Well the Vette follows me to the El Dorado, we park, and he comes up to me and asks to see my engine, all the time saying, "Fuck, thats the fastest thing I've ever seen, Holy shit, I can't believe it, fuck that things fast." The guy in the Vette, my rider and me went in and had a beer. Talking about the race, my friend informed both of us he 'bout shit his pants, saying that was the most awsome ride i've ever been on, what a rush. Well now the funs over and just another memory and time to stare it the computer screen again, and feed my dog that hates me. Damn, that was fun. The Z is what I think the Japanese made to counter the Vette.... Nissan did a better job than Chevy. Zgringo 02-01-2005, 05:58 PM Well I guess were still on the same subject.....wealthy assholes and the brown stains on my riders seat cover.. http://img135.exs.cx/img135/1562/bartmoon9vt.gif ZedEx 02-01-2005, 06:25 PM ... Albert Im guessing you have a thing for little boys? Because you've posted Barts ass twice already  -Wes BlackBettyZ 02-01-2005, 06:25 PM nice kill Albert. Too bad the vette wasnt the new Z06 with the LS7 500hp monster viper killer. You think you could of taken him without the nitrous? Or smoked the z06? 1viadrft 02-01-2005, 06:38 PM Datsun/Nissan created the Z specifically for the US market(Well, the majority of us are in the US... Delerious in Canada and ZGringo in Mexico). Ever wonder why it's so appealing to us and not such a great hit in Japan? The muscular/aggressive stance screams Muscle Car-Americana! The body lines reminiscant of Jaguar's, Vette's and other exotic sports cars American's love (ie PORSCHE). Don't get me wrong... it's a well liked car in Japan but was always in the shadow of the popularized Skyline/GTR. It was a rare sight to spot a Z in the mass sea of Skyline's. This rare sight was also due to the fact there was a shortage in Japan... mainly because factories in Japan were working double time to produce for the US's overnight obsession with the Z. In Japan... the Z is not a very popular tuner paltform but a loyal bunch own and tune them, ie ESCORT Racing and BORDER Racing being one of the few shops specializing in Z's. 35 years later after the 240Z... is making another comeback in the US in the form of a 350Z. Muscular... Agressive... and very American! MikeMan 02-01-2005, 10:33 PM Datsun/Nissan created the Z specifically for the US market(Well, the majority of us are in the US... Muscular... Agressive... and very American! Get over yourself. It was clearly made for the Australian market. :) The way I see it is that if it was specifically made for the US market, why wasn't it produced in any US nissan/infiniti factories? That would make more sense. Also, why did they stop releasing them in the US after 1996, yet kept releasing them to the JDM? I think it was more that the z32 was more popular in the US than nissan had originally thought, and thats why the factories had trouble keeping up with demand. As for the 350Z, it looks more Audi than Chevy/Ford/Dodge etc. I'd say the 350Z looks very european. -Mike Zgringo 02-01-2005, 11:27 PM Mike, I though the Aussies invented and designed the Z and sold the rights to Nissan. 1viadrft 02-02-2005, 05:26 PM  Get over yourself. I was mainly speaking of the early Z's... I don't think there were many, if any Nissan plants in the US at the time. The Japanese Nissan plants could not keep up with American demand for the early Z. Which left Japan for a shortage of Z's in it's first few years of production. And don't forget... the Skyline series was way more popular which lead to lower sales for Z's. One of the main reasons why the Z32 was not being produced for the US market after '96 was because it could no longer meet safety and Smog regulations on this side of the pond. The '90s was really big on that issue back then. Also even though sales for the Z were massive for the Z32 the first few years, sales dropped by it's last remaining years. Another factor may have been rising gas prices in the US (post Desert Storm war). About the 350Z... You missed my point. It has an appearance (whether it be Muscle or Exotic Euro Car) that is appealing to the US market... as do all the other past Z's... keeping it's tradition of the car designed for the "Gai-jin" American Public! Of course... the style is not limited to just the American taste... Now can I visit you when I'm hanging out in Aussie-World? :icon16: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
