BNR34 Skyline, Porsche GT3... And a Honda Civic.

And I must say, neither the Skyline, or the Porsche can keep up with the Civic. Maybe if they made the Porsche or the Skyline with VTEC... But even then, it would be close. :lol:

... Just kidding by the way, Porsche would kill it. But on the Road Course... Its anyones game, and I wouldn't put it past the BNR34 to slice the Porsche up a bit.

The skyline is a nice car, and although it is my favorite import, theyre many cars outthere that would smoke a skyline. I remember watching a movie where a skyline, a NSX, an EVO, a WRX, a Supra, and a RX-7 were pittied against each other. At the finish line it was the NSX who won with the skyline coming in 3rd. I don't care if isn't the fastest, it still is a great.

Reason I would want a Skyline is because it's something you don't see everyday. I love the looks and the performance of the car. But the thing that is most appealing to me is the rareness of the car. I have only see 2 Skylines faces to faces ever, one was an R-34 (which is my preference) and the other was a R-32. I don't want something is just fast, hell you can make a civic fast and look good, I just want some that not everybody and their mother has

The skyline only pulls a friggen 13.7 stock !!! and then you want to say that it is easy to mod out to 600hp! lol

Ok here we go, a buddy of mine has just took a 75 caddy 500, droped the best 70' heads on it, and now is done with a stroker kit on it. The entire processes will run about 2,500 ok... now heres the catch- It is now makeing 625hp, and 700torque, (he is also going to run a 250 shiot of nos - you know just in case a skyline comes along) now he is a big fan of trucks so he dropped this beast in a 74' gmc truck with fully moded suspension frame and tranny. He should oull about a 12.6 in a friggen truck ok? now drop that in say a 70' datson 240z which weighs like nothing but can take an asss load of power and don't tell me it doesn't fit - it does. one should pull a 11 flat in the quarter. Suspension mods oh lets say you through a good 9,000 grand at that ok? You should handle as well as a porche and the GT the enzo.

This would cost- about 15,500 and there you got a friggen supermachine.

I just like the skyline because it looks cool as cool can get to me. Nothing looks like it - the closest to it is a Lexus Sc300/400 from the 90's So i like that too. Its the styling certainly not the perfomance that makes this car awsome....to me.

Oh by the way i'll get back to you with the magazine but there is a guy out there on the track yes with a (don't quote me) 68' - ...i think 68', chevy chevelle he is keeping up with the guys in the lambos the enzos the vettes the porches with this OLD technology. Personally- i say screw MPG if it is not going to be your daily- hell that is what a good motorcycle is for- and the civic fast still rolling around laughing at that one- they don't even get decent MPG for the power they put out- with that one.

If someone wants a decent startup car either get a dsm a turbo dodge or a mustang (hate camaros and firebirds since the last car craft- my god 3/4s of the cars were these!).

Future ref- yes i would ruin the skyline gt-r if it were me- i would drop that old school caddy 500 in that real quick and find some way to keep the awd - but in jgtc or whatever was that not rear wheal? hmmm i think i would just keep it rwd. with a gt-s or something of the sort.

Go ahead yell at me for this post i don't care- this is all true any way- that is one of the reasons i am swichting to bikes- quicker for less money and the get better MPG and there is no way to die faster than on a bike! Yeah death! :grinyes:

oh....you think honda's arent fast? a buddy of mine has an integra thats only pushing 375 horses, but it runs 10's. WITH FULL INTERIOR. hes got over 10 grand into the car.
