Hey Guys, wondering. Ball Joints seem pretty inexpesive. My front end squeeks like a mofo. So I also need to replace bushings and finally new shocks and coil springs. First though, how hard is it too replace the lower and upper Ball Joints? Simple or is it a pain?

Replacing the ball joints are a HUGE pain in the ass, especially if they have never been done before. Getting them out is not tough, but getting the new ones in is no fun at all. But, if it needs to be doe, it needs to be done. Just letting you know. I changed my coild springs recently, and its not that hard and it made a big difference in the noise level. In these old cars, shocks are good to change every 20ish K miles. Replacing all the frame bushings and such is also a very good way to stop noise as it lifts the body off the frame... your on the right track, but yes, the ball joints are a bitch.

Hey Rob, where do you get Bushing Kits from? Ive found some, but where do you get complete ones from?

I purchased my kit off of ebay. I got it pretty cheap, and it was a good quality when I got it in the mail.

That Helps alot, but how do I know which bushings go where? Or is it just easy to idenify them when under the car?

The kit that I purchased came labeled. Even if its not labeled, you can basically tell which bushing goes where when you remove your old ones.
