Mx-3 K8ZE? swap to a KFZE?

I was wondering what engine is in the v-6 mx-3. I know of one i can buy and can't look in the engine, its the 93 with a 1.8 L V-6 and i was wondering what the code name of the engine is. Also is it possible to swap it to a 2.0L KFZE or what ever it is. Any info will help, thanks guys.

the US spec MX3 V6 came with a 1.8L motor called the K8. it has 130hp. The J-spec 1.8L is called a K8ZE and has roughly 140hp.

IMO a KFZE isnt worth the hassle. It is a 2L V6 with 160hp (i think).

Go KLZE (2.5L J-Spec with 197hp and they run about 1000$CDN or 800$US) or KL-DE (2.5L A-Spec from Ford Probe and MX6 with 164hp and they run about 500-600$)
