As you can see, my parts car is now being used for his project... But if anyone needs any '92 VX parts, the interior is decent!! 84CiviC 02-06-2005, 11:13 PM hey,how much would you want for the front and back seats???if your sellin them.i live in florida. aquarius 02-09-2005, 05:52 PM It all depends on some things ,but if I do deside I will let you know. Ok heres the future plans for the whole deal. Switch over the 92 civic front end to the rex.Rip out the whole interior of the rex , except the dash. Put in a roll cage paint it along with the rest of the inside. Put in some racing seats and harnesses. Then give the whole deal a nice smooth paint job. I will also keep posten pics of the progress too. 84CiviC 02-13-2005, 05:23 PM hey, what are you gonna do to the motor?like what kind of engine are you ginna swap and shit like that... aquarius 02-16-2005, 05:05 PM Not sure at the moment really if my bro does the swap he wants to do with his rex i might swap his old one into it. It mostly depends if he lets me use his old motor. aquarius 02-19-2005, 07:00 PM OK here is a question that needs an answer what the heck is a title bond??? I am tryin to figure it out so i can get the actual title. So if you know what it is i would be glad if you could tell me. matt s 02-25-2005, 11:32 PM Don't have an answer for your question...but are ya sellin your old hood? if so, where would you be located? i'm in need of one....maybe you saw my post? thanks Figori 02-26-2005, 12:41 AM We're in Mississippi... Not sure if he really wants to sell the hood... But it's all up to him. aquarius 02-26-2005, 08:23 PM Yeah i can probably sell it to you in the near future hear because i am gonna need money for my project so as soon as i am done with all the measuments and references from it i will talk to you some more about it. Where are you located? matt s 03-01-2005, 01:27 PM Ah, well I'm over in Washington, but already hooked up with lxndr and will be gettin one from him since he's only like 50-60 miles away. = \ Thanks though. Oh, and GL with the rest of the conversion! I've seen similar and it looked pretty sweet, can't wait to see your end product ;) aquarius 03-11-2005, 07:09 PM Today is a wonderful day the day my father says that i can move the car to the garage and start workin on it,now that all the important paper work is taken car of and i will get a plate for it monday. This is also good because spring break is next week and i am sure it will keep me plenty busy. I am hopen to get the engine running and the carb all set back up with its vacuum lines. Should have some more pics of progress soon aquarius 03-13-2005, 08:58 PM you know you can find out alot about a car when you take the whole interior out. i found out that my car had been in a nice wreck and had been t-boned on the passenger side. I found this out do to the car door being being blue the same color as the rest of the car and the places where it had been scrathced reveiled red. Also the crossmember had ben pushed back creating a crease. and the slope fome the floor to the trunk space had some ripples. luckily it had been repaird correctly. So tomorow i have to take car of the rust problem it casued doesn't look like I would have to replace the floor pans but a possibility. aquarius 03-14-2005, 10:21 PM hey does anybody want to by 92 civic interoir items: seats, door panels, carpet, gage cluster, and many other varius items. stinky817 03-17-2005, 01:57 AM what condition are the seats in? and what color are they? aquarius 03-17-2005, 10:01 AM The civic seats are in good condition except the driver seat which has a warn out spot from getting in and out common thing. They are a darker greyish color next time its not raining i will go out and get some pics of them. aquarius 03-22-2005, 09:46 PM well got the rust on the outside taken care of and some taken care of in the inside and i painted the whole outside of the car grey primer. heres a question though on my carb on the under side where the two valves are there is one that will not shut all the way is this normal. aquarius 04-06-2005, 06:18 PM ok tried to start the car and first it was gettin no fuel. we fixed that by maken sure the fuel cuttoff switch was hooked up it allows fuel to go into carb when key is on. after we fixed that we still couldn't get it to start and we were gettin spark and everything any body got any ideas. aquarius 04-07-2005, 09:33 PM ok tried to start the car and its not getting fuel throught the carb just wanderin if any boday would know why it is not getting fuel through carb and how any thing else could be effecting it. aquarius 04-13-2005, 10:03 PM Well we weren't getting compression and had to take the head off. The problem was not the carb after all it was because the vavles were not seating properly ,but called a guy and hopefully he can take care of it. aquarius 04-19-2005, 09:17 PM its seems that the car had jumped time which resulted in some messed up valevs should get the head back in a day or too and hopefully it will run and then i will get some pics up of it aquarius 04-27-2005, 04:38 PM Ok this this thread is almost dead, but now i have a question that is important. My 85' civic crx HF carbed has had a rebiult head by a local head shop and new gaskets and seals. When we got the head back we put it on and everything went fine , but when starting it the engine likes to race wide open. We messed with a screw on the top of the carb befor we realized the head was bad, and now after the head is back and on it won't idle properly any body got a solution. thanx aquarius 04-30-2005, 12:07 PM ok anybody know where to get a parts diagrams for a carb or just a diargram of such? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
