Shabam!CBFryman 01-30-2005, 09:23 AM I just purchased a '99 Mazda B-3000 5-speed TL edition. It is a very nice looking truck http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/CBFryman/Picture200.jpg Though i am the streey truck kinda guy im going to keep this on up in the air (if i can keep my wallet full enough to pay for thoes tires) I love the rims on this thing, the interior is VERY nice. Bucket/1/2bench seats, cloth, very supportive, plenty of room in the back. its a 4 door. carbon fiber on the interior door panels. simply stunning. Problem. other than a dent in the bumper and some very minor rust in the edge of the bed this truck seemed to have no problems. except for a throttle problem. What happens is you will be going along at say 2,000 RPM and you will shift into neutral and coast to a stop. the engine will move up to 3000RPM or so and stay there untill you engage the clutch and put it in gear and then back into neutral. its almost like a sticking throttle cable but it isnt (throttle moves all the way back to idle position). my dad seems to think it is a vaccum line leak. I'd like to know what you all think. of this problem and this truck. 89B2200 01-30-2005, 10:34 AM Could be a vacuum line leak. Check all your hoses or you can blow 3 psi oimpressed air in one of the vacuum lines and listen for any air leaks. If that's not it it could be a dirty idle control valve. 89B2200 01-30-2005, 10:36 AM Oh, it is a very nice truck! Enjoy the drive! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
