belt tensioner on a 1996 Grand Am 3.1l
Is this something someone can change or does it have to be done at a dealer. Ive got a price from pep boys $75.00 labor and $54.00 for the parts....Is it that hard to change...Its hard to see from the top of the car.
TIA
Please get back to me on this

Had this done to my 96.... BIG PIA... I usually work on my own stuff, but very glad I paid to have that done. That mechanic had a hard time even with a LIFT.
Get the belt changed while they are in there. allways a good Idea.
Seems like a nice price as I paid $200 for mine W/ a new belt.
