Will 235 width tires rub when 99 Accord coupe is lowered ???

17" 05 TL rims with 235 tire, will it rub when the car is resonably lowered ???

I would think it would depend on the profile, a 235 is pretty wide. I had a 215/45/17 on my 99 Altima and it rubbed. I ended up getting 205/50's

you can always change your well (cut into it and re-sheet metal it)...lol.

How wide is the rim? A 235 tire is way to big to be on a honda unless your wide bodied with an appropriate wheel offset, or fabed. for drag racing. The widest rim a honda should have is an 8 inch. rim. and typically a 7.5 inch rim is whats found on honda's. A 7.5 rim warrents a 215/40/, and an 8 gets a 225/40. Check your local tire shop for proper sizing but don't go wider than an 8 inch rim or you'll have nothing but problems. you might even bend, dent, or rip your front fender off.
