It appears that Nissan installed 190MPH speedometers on the TT's it sent to europe. The one O have Was baught by a guy in the military in Germany and when he returned to the states kept his car.

That would be "fast enough"

Though it is kind of odd for a Euro spec speedometer to have the MPH reading on the outside in larger writing than the KPH reading.

Anyway, that is badass. Might have to pick one of those up eventually.

Because it would be ultra badass when asked "How fast will it go?" to be able to say "I don't know, my speedometer only goes to 190*"

i found one on ebay that goes up to 160mph. the only thing , the speedometer shows less miles. dont know if that would ever cause a problem if i decide to ever sell my Z

want a different colored gauge faces?, get your stock gauge faces and put them in a copy machine and use construction paper to print the copy, then laminate the paper.... ppl like me will buy it on ebay for 30$ thinking it was something more than laminated paper.. it still pisses me off how bad i got ripped off

If you've got a huge stretch of road, and you're flooring it, you should be able to get up to about 200-210 km/h in a few minutes. :)

Heh, I was doing this on the way back from the gong to sydney and when I was doing 200 or so, I flipped up the headlights. My top speed dropped right down to 185-190 in about 5 seconds. I didn't think the headlights would make that much of a difference, but I guess even the slightest drag at that speed is going to add up.

fastest I have been was 135mph through Lousiana on my way home from Pheonix AZ.... I had a BMW 3 series and a Porche rolling with me on I-10East for about 45 minute or so. Its amazing how smooth the car is at those speeds, its also amazing how fast gas goes at those speeds. I got 15mpg at speeds over 100MPH.
