99 Civic Turbo

Hi im building a custom turbo kit for my 99 civic ex.. im just wondering if I have 80,000 miles can my engine take boost?? and if so how much boost for just daily driving?? no other mods on the car besides intake.. and exhaust and obd 1 conversion.. any help would be appreciated! Thanks

You know what, If you did a simple search or, god forbid, looked through this forum for 20 seconds, you would see the EXACT same question posted less than a week ago. That's a scary concept isn't it, actually searching and doing research instead of expecting people to repeat the same questions over and over. Boy, are we awful.

well its kinda obvious if someone just asked it. if it was way way back ya sure, maybe u missed the post when searching.. but really, spend 10 minutes searching before you make a post, im sure you'll find the answer your looking for.

80k is not really that many miles for a Honda. Your car should be fine if it was taken care of. What type of kit are you getting? If you're not doing any internal mods, i wouldn't run any more than 10psi. What are you doing for the FMU, are you doing Uberdata since you have the OBD1 conversion?? Why are you doing the conversion anyway??
