Report back jspence35 01-31-2005, 10:01 PM check fuses under dash; probably has blown fuse caused by dome lamp screw contacting roof panel dr_elmo_jr 02-04-2005, 03:35 PM Ground straps are another possibility. I know that they are a nuisance arden1963 02-06-2005, 09:08 PM hey check the kick plate on driver side door, its on floor, were rug starts next to seat. unsrcew the panel on the floor as soon as you open the door there is a wire harnness that runs under that panel that one controls the dome lights, power locks ,cargo lights, and speed senser to rare and dash that is an eletric trans, there is no cable for miles per hour it will act like the trans is screwed slipping and what ever else it wants two do the fuse for the speed on dash is in the fuse box top on the left second in, it is a 20 amp fuse good luck arden1963 02-06-2005, 09:15 PM hey check the kick plate on driver side door, its on floor, were rug starts next to seat. unsrcew the panel on the floor as soon as you open the door there is a wire harnness that runs under that panel that one controls the dome lights, power locks ,cargo lights, and speed senser to rare and dash that is an eletric trans, there is no cable for miles per hour it will act like the trans is screwed slipping and what ever else it wants two do the fuse for the speed on dash is in the fuse box top on the left second in, it is a 20 amp fuse good luck also when you get the shorts done, and you still have the same code running first pull battery cables do get rid of codes from the shorts you fixed leave cable off for about five minutes then run the truck if the code comes back the tps controls the shift pattern of the trans on how soft or hard or when it shifts thats on the throttle body of the intake throttle control senser, but dont jump the gun take care of the shorts first vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
